Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? I’ve put together a few valentine’s day date ideas that I’m considering doing this year. England is still in a nationwide lockdown so everywhere is shut until late February but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate love… On this post you’ll find 5 of my favourite date ideas or you can also read my previous Stay at home date ideas post for more fun options.
Premium mixed cocktails in a box
I’ve yet to meet someone who doesn’t love a good cocktail! Although I love drinking them, I always struggle to make a good one or don’t want to waste money on all the ingredients for 1 or 2 cocktails. Gift your loved one an NIO cocktail box. All you have to do is select a box size, choose between 17 crafted cocktails or mocktails and they will be sent directly to your letterbox. Date night drinks have never been easier.
Subscription boxes
A monthly subscription is a gift that keeps on giving. You can find boxes that include pretty much everything, from beauty products, beers, socks and even coffee. A few of my favourites are the fabfitfun for beauty/fashion items and Bloom & Wild for fresh flowers.
Home cooked dinner date
Keep it casual and cook your other half a romantic dinner in the comfort of your own kitchen. If you want to make things fancy, have him or her dress up for the occasion. You could also make things easier by ordering a food box like this one from Rick Stein.
Virtual experience
This one is definitely on my gift list for this Valentine’s day! With the many lockdowns and social distancing rules what’s better than an online experience in your own home. Virgin Experiences offers virtual tastings, games and all kind of different experiences. Here are a few of my favourites… (hint hint to the husband when he reads this)
Professional photoshoot
You can never have too many photos taken to remember the ones you love. Whether you want to make it a couples session or include your whole family, there’s no better time to celebrate love. Have a professional photographer meet you outdoors and have a photoshoot while safely keeping a distance.
This year has been tough on so many of us. Friends and family have had to push weddings and holidays, or even cancelling a weekly date night that many couples depend on. Take the time, especially this year to make Valentines Day, a day to remember. Comment below and let me know what you’ve got planned this Valentine’s day.
